Install stuck after database entry

After I enter all the info for my database location/user/etc. it says everything is fine, I continue and it just sits on the spinning icon for ages (been waiting an hour).

What could be wrong?

try using firefox (do a browser refrefsh), safari some times hangs during the installation.
