So this I have tracked this down to Safari and the jQuery.Preload.js file. When using the default Soft theme you momentarily see the problem pictured by typely, however, once the page finishes loading the thumbnails seem to correct themselves. In my adaptation of the Soft theme I noticed that jQuery never seems to register that the page is done loading (its loading icon keeps spinning) which leads me to believe that it has not had a chance to "fix itself" like the Soft theme does. So my next step is to investigate why my page doesn't seem to "stop loading" and then see if this thumbnail problem doesn't go away.
One additional though, on my site I have removed the thumbnails from being displayed on every page and placed them on their own page called Home. When doing this it moves the thumbnails into the "load-content" div which is used by default for entries. Typely are you doing the same thing? This seems to be a relatively common procedure with other forum members so I am wondering if anyone else might be able to shed some light on this. Thanks guys.
Axisds, did you ever figure out how to stop the page from continually loading? I really like my thumbnails outside of a defined page and load .gif but I hate that it keeps spinning. Thanks. www.andybaudoin.com
