1. I have the names of all my work in the menu on the left, so don't need the names under the thumbnails too, can I remove them from under the thumbnails?
2. Changing the first load to the name of the page "Work" did not work so I've had to use Redirect 301 in my htaccess file. Anyone know why this may be?
Just need to compare the entry_link_thumbs.php with the soft theme, this theme doesn't have the thumbnail name.
I did, but backwards, I'm using the soft theme, so I needed the name becouse I hidden the tags from the menú.
I really don't understand very well your question, where did you change it?..
You could change it by two ways:
On the PC: open the file your-root/Core/core/themes/yourtheme/configuration.php, and change the
$first_load = "Info";
Info is my main page, so just change it for yours (Work), don't wirte the # and must to be the exactly spelling, look up your capital letters!
After change it, upload by ftp access.
The other way is online (this is the easy way), in the back-end, go to style/Layout - Theme: currently used - Parameters: first load, here insert the name of your main page, remember write the exactly spelling without the #, save it, and check.
